Like what the title says: How do you know you are getting better from the medication? Is there any signs to tell that your getting better?

I think this is an interesting (& also a valid) question. But, unfortunately, I don't know as I have any particularly useful answers. I think, based on my own experience, the only way to tell is to pay attention to how you're doing on the medication & try to compare that with how you were doing prior to taking it.

A while back, I started taking a low dose of clonazepam after having been off all medications for several years. There were several reasons I did this. But one was that I felt myself becoming increasingly angry & reactive. Am I better now that I'm on the medication? Yes, I can see that I am. It's not perfect. I still have to work at it. But it's better. That's pretty subjective. But it's the only way I know of to tell. I suppose you could also ask people you're around day-in & day-out if they've noticed a difference. But ultimately I think whether or not you're getting better is something you have to determine for yourself.

For me, with physical or mental health, I feel better. That's how I can tell if I'm getting better with medication. Or if my symptoms are less or gone.

I think it depends on what you’re suffering from. The biggest thing is , youre no longer suffering! If you have anxiety about crowds, ( for example) maybe you were able to go to a mall without your heart racing this time. You know you wanna get. Outta there. Asap but maybe your physical reactions arent as severe or even existent anymore. There can always be setbacks but id say. If you go from having 7/7 bad days to having 5/7 bad days that’s still progress! Heck. If youre able to go one morning without racing thoughts. , thats progress!

The problems you had that you were prescribed medication for are less intrusive. You feel more in control of your thoughts, feelings, and actions, rather than your disorder controlling you.

You might still have episodes of the disorder, but they are less intense and of shorter duration.
