Does anyone else think it would be a good idea to have a jokes(clean) thread or forum to lighten the mood for people who are struggling and need a bit of cheering up?

Just a thought.

i think its a great idea Jinny, why dont you do it in the style of each joke has to start with the next letter of the alphabet until it gets back to the start letter which i guess you could start with the first clean joke starting in any letter of he alphabet you want, it being your thread and all...

Edited by me to say: Good luck with that concept, keeping it clean, joke wise that is Jinny

Should be fun watching...

A genie appeared to an Irishman standing on a beach rubbing his last botle of guinness. "I'll grant you 3 wishes" said the genie.

the irishman after his initial shock thought about it and asked for a bottle of guiness that filled itself up constantly on becoming empty.

The genie was a sgood as his word and the Irishman couldn't believe his luck after he slugged the first down and watched in awe as it filled itself up again.

"You have 2 more wishes" said the genie

The Irishman thought..."To be sure I'll have another 2 of these"

mmmmmm best I could do........(no offence, I am one quarter Irish)

There's some good ones here:

http://shadow.ieor.berkeley.edu/humor/

as well as some good science to see if the "computer" can predict what jokes you will like next from ones you graded in the past (how Amazon works recommending books for you that you might like from ones you've bought in the past).

A dog walks into Western Union and asks the clerk to send a telegram. He fills out a form on which he writes down the telegram he wishes to send: "Bow wow wow, bow wow wow."

The clerk says, "You can add another 'Bow wow' for the same price."

The dog responded, "Now wouldn't that sound a little silly?"
