Grab a plate, some utensils, a napkin, and a cup and dig in! I think I got everyone's item on the table.
Here are the choices: side table---cut up vegetables: carrots, celery sticks, cucumber slices, pieces of green pepper, cherry tomatoes, sliced onion, with green salad dressing, ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, or french dressing, romaine lettuce and iceberg lettuce (fix your own salad, if you'd like) fruit: grapes, cantalope, watermelon, blueberries, apple slices peanuts and pecans cheddar and brie cheese sushi main table--ham, smoked turkey with dressing and cranberry sauce, prime rib, chili rellenos, big pot of chili green bean casserole, yorkshire pudding, brown sugar yams, steamed broccoli with or without cheese sauce, rice, plain green beans, caramelized carrots, mashed potatoes rolls and biscuits with butter provided pumpkin cupcakes, cushaw pie, gingerbread cookies, lacy chocolate cookies, chocolate caramel candied apples, chocolate cream pie, chocolate cake with chocolate icing, pecan pie, coconut pie, carrot cake drinks: spiked or unspiked eggnog, sweet and unsweet iced tea, hot tea, and coffee (decaf or regular) Treats for pets Get as much as you like. It's all calorie free. (Well, we can pretend. ) Stick to your IRL schedule, if you'd like. We'll pretend, though, that lunch is at 1:00 and dinner is at 6:30, and people can eat from the side table before and after meals and even during meals. Feel free to tell other folks what you're eating or whatever. Last edited by Travelinglady; Dec 21, 2018 at 04:08 AM.. |

We're making roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts with prosciutto and fresh sage along with our ham.
Spiced Pineapple Ham Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta and Sage (swapped with prosciutto because pancetta is mostly fat) I might sneak by for dessert.. |

I've always wanted to try Yorkshire pudding. I'm considering fasting on Christmas. I need to start a diet. Everyone starts on New Years. Why not get a week jump on it.

For folks who are watching their waists, we do have salad fixings and the meat is not too fattening. Just swerve away from the desserts!

I'm spending lots of virtual money , and I am happy to do it. Planning all this has been fun and I look forward to it, too.

Okay, we have two more desserts: peppermint sugar cookies and double chocolate cookies dipped in powdered sugar. Wow, sounds wonderful!

Exactly! Grab a plate and make the rounds of the tables. My problem is going to be the desserts. So many good ones and such a relatively tiny stomach.

I just absolutely love the zero calories here but the taste is scrumptious. I've hit the ham and side dishes so many times, mmm yams.

I bought some purple potatoes to make for dinner IRL. They are supposed to have a nutty flavor. I'll add some to the buffet.

Sounds interesting, liz. I'll definitely try those. I want to try the Yorkshire pudding, too. I don't think I've ever had that.
