I was able to take minor disappointments in stride. I was a disapppointed but I could and did went on with my life. Believe me it was a minor occurrence.

I had a wonderful trip seeing my sister in Oregon! So blessed to be able to afford the plane ticket this year and take 8 days off of my "real" life to see her!!!

Today, Thursday, August 22, 2019, I am grateful for getting to sleep TWO nights in a row not needing my sleep aids.
Insomnia is part of anxiety and depression. If something is on my mind, it keeps me awake at night, plus give me indigestion. Who can't relate to that? I had been taking 3 doses of Walmart's liquid Sleep aid( the recommended dose on the bottle is 1), 30 MGS of Melatonin and Ibuprophen over the recommended dosage to get to sleep. And some nights I would wake up in the middle of the night and struggle to get back to sleep. Or I would wake up startled by what I did not know. While this was going on, I worked hard to get any anxieties I had resolved and behind me. This past Tuesday night, I noticed I was yawning and felt like I could go to sleep on my own. So, I tried that and was successful. I went to sleep and slept through til morning. And the same thing occurred last night. And the best part? I was successfully in getting my meds from the local drugstore. I could respond to two Reddit threads. One was on Gorillas singing when eating and no I didn't joke about the apes singing "Gorilla of my dreams I love you" and a cute reddit on dogs. Plua over 100 visitors to my blog.

My wife & I had our Shingrix vaccine booster shots (shingles vaccine) this past Tuesday. It made my wife dreadfully ill all day Wednesday. I'm grateful she feels much better today...
