Do you think this has been a good decade, or for you personally, has it been awful?

I don't know if awful is the worst I want to use to describe how I perceive the last 10 years. I've not really enjoyed anything from 2010 up to now, except for playing through games like The Last of Us (which one could argue isn't much of a highlight because it makes you look like a shut-in nerd) and the fact I got to appear in some movies was cool, I suppose, but the rest was just plain bad in many notable ways. I've not had a social circle in like years, and whenever I try, people just make a laughing stock out of me. I've had too much anxiety building up over time. I'm not sure if it's really that mentally healthy to compare decades, but if 8 years out of 10 are so bad, then yeah. The decade should be rendered as a failure.

Now I live alone, and I don't get help from social services at all, despite living about 5 minutes from them. I've had a lot of hassle to put up with because of them too.

Years ago, I found my ex after not seeing her for close to 7 years and that was a disaster, because she just used me for my money. My pet budgie died years ago too. My sister got her kids taken away. My other sister's boyfriend died in 2017. In general, the decade has, for me at least, been terrible. I can't say I'll miss it when 2020 begins. We also lost a lot of great singers this decade. 2016 you will recall, was a shocker.
