What is the funniest knock off product or store you have ever come across? When I was traveling out of state when I was a kid I came across a Red Rooster Pantry which sounded an awful lot like one of those now defunct White Hen Pantry’s. It was pretty funny.

We have a Dr. John's. (adult toys and sex stuff, or so I have heard.) It happens to be right next door to a store called Ministerial Alliance Thrift Store staffed by a lot of very elderly volunteers.

It was funny to me when I found out that Hydro cookies are actually the original, and not Oreos. I always thought it was the other way around.

I was in a gallery of authentic Pacific West coast First Nations Art. Works were hundreds and thousands of dollars. Next door is a knock off place with prints of bad hacks and fake reproductions. I laughed at first. Then wanted to cry. So sad the tourists clamoring over the crap which actually amounts to stealing the Arts and culture of the local indigenous communities. Pity.

A. it didn't look like a wand at all, more like a toy duck (and it certainly didn't have any sparkly bits)

B,. the second I got the wand/ duck out of the wrapping, it fell apart
