I received such a sweet email and Facebook message from my old high school bud Joe. Apparently, today is the 30th anniversary day of my high school graduation back in 1989. He found and sent me a photo of me receiving my diploma, and even better, he found a lovely photo of the two of us with our arms wrapped around each other after the ceremony. He's always been the sweetest person I ever knew from my school days.I have luckily kept in touch with him off and on throughout the years that have passed. I saw him at the reunion last month.

Although what I did instead was talk with her and tell her how I felt about her shaming comment. I wasn't confrontational or angry, I simply told her that it hurt me and offended me. She apologized, saying she realized she had said the wrong thing just as I was leaving the session. So I won't give up on her now, but at some point I will probably make the switch. I wish you all the best in finding a good therapist for yourself! |

What positive occurrence happened today? Well, I went to the gym. That is positive, I reckon.

I slept 6.5 hours last night. That's a vast improvement over months of about around 4 hours...

Well, I switched on the computer this morning and found an e-mail from my brother in the UK. He plans to visit next week for a few days I do not hear from him much, he tends to be one of those 'once in a blue moon' visitors

My feelings of self worth and self esteem do not depend on what my former abuser thinks of me or on how he feels about me. An epiphany.

I am like 45 minutes away from completing this task that has taken like a year (not kidding, we started this project a year ago)! I will be so relieved when this is done.

I emailed my boss to take some work off my plate. I got fed up because I have to work this weekend when no one else does. So I am proud of myself! If you don't speak up, then they will walk all over you.

My resume is completed and has been uploaded to two job search websites. I have a list of more websites I will add it to.
