I changed the title of this post to “collections” as my collection of stuffies isn’t an addiction.
Would anyone like to share any collections or possibly harmless “addictions” they might have? Not really sure that addictions is the correct word. I collect stuffies. My collection isn’t that massive. Tatty Teddy is one of my favourites Hmmm.. having looked “addictions” up it isn’t the correct word. Although I’m pretty sure many “normal” people would judge me as weird or something negative. They would anyway probably grrrr... I realise how negatively a someone (irl) tried to condition me, as if there was something wrong with having a few stuffies ... I’m a survivor of CEN. Oh well.. this has turned into a disjointed rant Any other survivors of CEN who have collections? (For anyone who may not know CEN is Childhood emotional neglect and does exist..) Shot glasses, stickers(recently found my old collection at dad's house), skulls(not real) and gargoyles. Though I don't actively collect anymore because of my soul crushing depression people will sometimes still buy me these things.

Hi, Fuzz. Yes, I collect a lot of things. Started with pretty glass, lace and linens, and Victorian china when I was still a teenager.
Now it ranges from all old glass to modern Scandinavian pieces, to ethnic and vintage textiles, art pottery, arts and crafts/ mission furniture, to kitchen utensils (old and new!). I like to pick up interesting pieces of silver jewelry too, when finances allow. Hi to all my fellow collectors! |

I have a pretty big collection of spongebob stuff I’ve bought mainly from Hot Topic, Box Lunch, and the Nickelodeon store. I have tons of shirts, and socks. I also have some other Spongebob things. I have a hat, a blanket, a hoodie, a plush Gary, a Glove World playset, some aquarium figures, and the Bikini Bottom bus. And a book on Spongebob.

Perfume samples. I didn't set out to collect them, I just got very into smelling new things... and now have over 300 samples (and a couple bottles, but mostly samples).
I love them. I love being able to wear a different scent every day, and match it to my mood. I love trying new stuff (mostly). It's one of the brighter things in my life right now! |

Music. Collection and addiction.
Books. Just collection, though I have been reading more often lately (Positive and uplifting books) and its been therapeutic. And because I used to buy lots of books, I've decided to start selling them on Amazon. I have a school fund I'm saving for, and the money I get from selling some of them will be helpful. |

I'm not much of a collector of any particular category of thing, and never have been. Not as far as "collecting" is concerned. I do have a particular love for kitchenwares and anything culinary-related. It's certainly not to any point of an unhealthy obsessive love, but I would say that I'm far far better equipped with kitchenwares and food staples than most people. Every cabinet in my kitchen is full, I have a very full pantry (with even shelves on the door), a whole standing cabinet, a rolling cabinet with shelves full of it, my husband created a number of shelves in the laundry room that have all kitchen-related stuff, there are at least five drawers between the hallway and dining room filled with the stuff, there is more on several shelves in the garage, along with a chest freezer, and I have a lot on multiple shelves in the basement. My spice cabinet alone has about 60 spices/dried herbs, plus about 20 other culinary core ingredients (extracts, baking soda/powder, various salts and peppers, etc.) I also have a full fresh herb garden that has chives, lovage, mint, parsley, rosemary, basil, oregano, thyme, cilantro. I don't have a vegetable garden, but only because I have no space for one. I have lots of cooking equipment! I can't even begin to list it all. Obviously I have stuff on my counters, but I try to leave sufficient working room on them. I wish they were bigger. I sometimes look at people's kitchens that are even bigger than mine and think "They don't even know how to scramble an egg! Why do they get such a beautiful kitchen!" I am a major cooking/baking enthusiast! Big passion!
Though not deliberately collecting them, when I was doing spring cleaning of my bathroom drawers, I found that I have a rather large number of tweezers. Altogether, between my bathroom drawers, pocketbooks (multiple), and travel cases, I think I have about 10 pairs. That's not even counting a couple pairs that my husband has. The above is the extent of my super passions. My husband has some of his own. He has thousands of CDs. Our house is literally like an art museum, too. He inherited a lot of art, and we've collected some, too. Our house is too small for all of it. There is pretty much no room left on our walls. We have many sculptures and other types of artistic pieces. Nothing cheesy. We have a lot of books, too, though I have seen people who have even more. Most of our books are in Czech. My father-in-law was a major collector of various things, particularly art work, stamps, and postcards. His art and sculptures were divided up between my husband and his siblings. My husband received his stamp and post card collections. We've sold most all of the stamps. We've kept the post cards, but recently had a person who wanted to buy them. @BirdDancer I love cooking too! I'm currently trying to build up my pantry ingredients, extracts, etc. I especially enjoy baking or any kind of dessert making
