Homemade yeast rolls/butter (what's better than that?), brussels sprouts gratin, broccoli souffle w/gouda, garlicy scalloped potatoes. 12/10. All just for me. I have enough food for a month! Oh well, at least I didn't feel sorry for myself and cooked anyway. Proud of myself.

9/10 - We actually went out to a new Chinese restaurant last night (Christmas day). It is an authentic Szechuan cuisine restaurant, that also had some Taiwanese dishes. I loved it because the food was actually authentic and not that typical Americanized Chinese type food. I know because I have lived in Taiwan in the past and traveled to China P.R.C. I think my Czech husband enjoyed it, too, but not as much as me.
