Thanks, bpcyclist. It was pretty darned good. We have leftovers to eat for lunch this afternoon. Tonight I will do something with some filet mignon I bought. Still thinking about what.
I love to cook and bake. I confess that any hyperspending I do is often at the grocery store. |

10/10 - Special meal for New Year's day. Steak Diane (filet mignons with creamy Dijon mustard sauce), boiled baby parsley potatoes, spring greens salad (with fresh orange, beets, roasted almond slices, and Carter & Cavero balsamic vinegar and evoo), grape tomatoes, baguette, champagne (the real stuff), espresso, homemade creme brulee with red raspberry garnish.

Last night was a Turkey and cheese sandwich...I didn't feel like cooking 4/10. I miss having a hot meal, so tonight I'll cook.

M&Ms and a bottle of Dasani water. 3/10
Am at the public library. May bake a potato and smother it with bad stuff like delicious cheddar cheese (bad for NAFLD but who cares) and steamed broccoli. |

My dinner was the most delicious - seafood paella - 10 of 10
One mouthful of a steamy bowl of paella and you'll be on a beach in Spain - such is the power of this seafood extravaganza |

6/10 - I used a new recipe for Apricot Chicken. I was not impressed. I don't think my husband was either. That recipe will be trashed. I served it with brown rice, arugula salad with grape tomatoes and Balsamic drizzle, and leftover champagne from New Year's day. I had a creme brulee for dessert. The creme brulee was 10/10.
