4/10 - I bought some pulled beef and roasted cauliflower from the store. It was lousy and gave me terrible indigestion. Hubby, on the other hand, ate out with friends at a nice Italian restaurant. Lucky him!

9/10 - I made homemade stuffed red bell peppers with tomato sauce. They were pretty yummy! Stuffing included ground sirloin beef, brown rice, sauteed onion, mushrooms, spinach, herbs, and tomato sauce, with grated fresh mozzarella cheese on top, served with more tomato sauce.

It will be a 10/10. Here's the menu I plan for dinner, that I sent to my husband. The main course is actually a Czech recipe, but could easily be a French one. I think most people here can figure it out. I don't drink any of the Cognac. I just sniff it.

My homemade butternut squash soup was 10/10. The leftovers from the restaurant the night before were 6/10. I could have made that dish much better and for a fraction of the price. They put too much garlic on it. It reeked garlic and I could hardly taste any of the other ingredients because of it.

I tried Wolfgang Puck soup thinking based on the name it would be really good. It didn’t have much flavor. I ate the noodles and that was it. 2/10. I guess that’s what the rich eat.

For early dinner/late lunch made Belgian waffle in my waffle maker with a little low fat margarine, and a little syrup (it’s so sugary) and 2 poached eggs. Also ate yogurt and applesauce. 9/10.

Piping hot supreme pizza 10/10. I usually stick with healthier foods but I’ve been losing weight too rapidly and needed more calories.

My mouth is watering at these yummy sounding breakfasts for dinner. I like that, myself, sometimes for dinner or lunch.
8/10 - Store bought crab cake (the brand is good) with Tartar sauce and lemon juice, Greek salad, one glass white wine. I also had a few sips of chilled white port wine as an aperitif. Two small pieces of chocolate as a sweet spot. |
