9/10 - Steak with homemade Czech dill sauce (koprova omacka) and Czech bread dumplings (knedliky). I also had cucumber tomato salad and a glass of nice Rioja wine. Two small pieces of chocolate for dessert.

9/10 - Homemade minestrone soup with homemade herb croutons. It was very tasty and extremely healthful containing six vegetables, three different beans, herbs, low fat chicken stock, just a little olive oil, mini pasta, and Parmesan rind. I served it with more Parmesan and fresh parsley over the croutons. I made enough that I froze a lot of it.
