I'm so excited to have come across this website article that I had to come here to post it. The article goes over in detail all of the different levels of meditation, but it's actually an excerpt from a book. This is not just mindfulness meditation. I just got the book and highly recommend it if you resonate with it. I've heard about these higher levels of meditation that anyone can experience but never read such detail about them. It's just amazing.
Website article: How to Master the 10 Stages of Meditation & Evolve Your Mind The book is The Mind Illuminated: A Complete Meditation Guide Integrating Buddhist Wisdom and Brain Science for Greater Mindfulness Paperback by John Yates. |

Sounds interesting. I meditate, though have fallen off the "mediate everyday" wagon lately. I will have to (at least) read the article. Thanks!

I wish I would get myself back into meditation. For some reason it brought up all kinds of emotional issues for me and I stopped doing it.

Sisabel, a lot of things that are good for you can cause some form of pain. Going to the gym, fasting, switching from junk food to a healthy diet, shadow work, etc.
