I don't know who here looks at memes, but I often wonder what those people featured in memes feel about their "success" or popularity, especially when a lot of these memes feature young kids or babies, like the "bubbles girl" or the "sarcastic-face kid" or the "success baby" or the babies who were captured making silly faces or had eyebrows drawn on. (Don't have time to post photos, but they're so popular that you'd know them if you've seen them).

I wonder how these people feel about having their image shared throughout the internet to be laughed and mocked upon. And it's too early now, but a lot of these meme kids will grow up, and I wonder if they'll laugh it off or be traumatized by being that "meme kid".

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone ever look at these memes that get laughs or hurtful comments and wonder if these people in these memes feel good or bad about being laughed at?

IDK I do know there is a meme of P:hila. 76s head coach Brett Brown in a meme that features what he looked like when he knew the Sixers weren't getting into the finals 2018. IMO he looks rather upset. The meme is something like what you look klike when your star player is dating a Kardashian. Its a Getty image. It's labeled for editorial purposes only. I view it as a violation of Getty Images. Those are professional photos. IOW one is suppose to pay for them. This is so wrong on several levels. First it was as I mentioned before for editorial uses only. Whoever created the meme should of paid Getty images. Its using someone's upst for laughs. Very uncool.imo.

I think this whole “ meme “ phase will die off soon enough that these kids won’t be haunted by them forever.

At least that’s my hope
