Oh wow, I hate any kind of bugs getting in the house, but yeah... wasps feel scary, even if they don't mean any harm. And, I don't know a good way to get them back outside without hurting them (sorry, wasps!)

I had one get in once. I vacuumed it. And, it got out again (if I remember correctly).

I think I had to vacuum it again, then take the vacuum out in a back room that is not part of my main house, and leave it out there for awhile.

I wish they'd create a vacuum cleaner that can act like a normal vacuum, but also have some special "eliminate the bug" mode, so that they can't come back out. My new one might work out... I think the bags have a little plastic seal that opens from the suction when it's turned on, but closes when you turn off the vacuum. It might do a better job of trapping the critters, but I'm not sure.

Oh no. In the UK the phrase "legless" means excessive alcohol causing one to stagger around. LOL.

Thank you for a most amusing chat.

That's a great idea!! And some way to suffocate them so they can't cause any more anxiety.

It's my pleasure!!

Ohhhhhhh, ok. I was trying to figure out how UK wasps lost their legs and the US wasps don't. I mean, not that I am aware of. I don't exactly follow drunk wasps around.

I feel very strongly that somebody needs to create a bug-hunting roomba-type little machine.

I don't know how they'd do it (it seems like a clunky robot would be easy enough for bugs to run/fly away from) - but seriously, I'd pay LOTS of money to have a couple of those things, patrolling the house for me, ingesting (ha!) any and all insects and rendering them unrecognizable (I'm a bit phobic, so it's hard for me to even get near dead bugs to clean them up. Vacuum cleaner with a long wand - to the rescue!)

OMG... I wish I knew how to invent this. I'd totally put it on kickstarter! I bet I'm not the only one who needs one!!!
