Conspiracy Theories - Are Any True?

I was wondering if any conspiracy theories wound up being true.

Frankly I don't believe so - that is why they are called theories. I think it prudent to fact check what comes around to us and question closely the validity. These all seem so ridiculous I can't believe them. Listen to science and factual evidence only. If you still find yourself questioning, a really good place to differentiate between factual and make believe is Snopes.com | The definitive fact-checking site and reference source for urban legends, folklore, myths, rumors, and misinformation.. This is a great site that weeds out fact from fiction, particularly when it comes to rampant Urban myths. Please, before you are inclined to jump on the band wagon of such slop do your homework.

I've never come across any of these theories that were true

even though I believed in 2012, (and I still believe that 1 day in the future 2012 will happen.), I don't know if it's going to be in our time.

I was walking past my moms room and the news was on. They said some THC had been found in Halloween candy. I’ve always been confused if that urban legend was real or not. Some of the old conspiracy theories I’m not sure about. Like was Oswald really the lone gunman? Most of it is just BS, and good dinner table conversation and that’s it.

Thank you guys. I hear all sorts of stories and was just curious about the conspiracy theory ones. I like reading those sometimes, along with mysteries and the most wanted lists.

For me, the answer in this instance is, yes.

Possible trigger:

I know this is a very sensitive issue, but I was shocked to find that many thousands of architects and engineers - whose expertise it is to know these things - believe that the World Trade Center buildings were brought down by controlled demolition on 9/11. That's how buildings that were designed to withstand the impact of airliners came crashing down so effectively, including the lesser known World Trade Center 7 high rise building, which wasn't even struck by a plane[!] And that's far from all. There's firsthand witness testimony by firefighters, policemen, and just ordinary citizens etc., who were there on that day, which point exactly to controlled demolition as being the cause of the collapses. Not to mention the fact that explosive residues were found everywhere in the vicinity of the collapsed buildings[!!!] And that's still not everything, unfortunately.

Yes, very, very disheartening indeed.

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, have made it their mission to re-open the investigation into the collapse of the WTC. Study their arguments, if you dare. They're on the internet.

I totally agree with you. In my years of observing life, I have noticed that those who PUSH a scenario will LABEL anyone who comes too close to the REAL truth, a "conspiracy theorist" to try & discredit the TRUTH because it doesn't fit the narrative they want to project.

I was fascinated by controlled demolition back in 1970 when I was following one of the old hotels they were taking down in Las Vegas & the engineering procedures they took to bring it down.

To me, the label of conspiracy theory is very similar to abusive parents telling their kid that what they REALLY are experiencing isn't abuse. Just because you are brainwashed not to think something is WRONG, doesn't mean it is RIGHT.

Always be a fact checker & TRUTH seeker & NEVER take anyones word for anything. I grew up being that way much to the dismay of my parents.

Also NEVER just trust one source of fact check like SNOPS. They have been PROVEN to be wrong too. Multiple sources are necessary for research. You may still end up not knowing but at least you KNOW then that maybe neither side is totally correct & sometimes an "I don't know" is a reasonable conclusion
