@LiteraryLark

I'm thinking the patch again, and tons of water! I'm hoping to get my first GP and dental appointments in at the VA, and then I'll go from there. I've got a ton of issues to deal with - mostly medical. I plan on working on those first before I dive into the smoking cessation. And, I plan on doing the smoking cessation before I do any therapy for any DID or PTSD. I want to quit smoking, but it's hard.

I can't buy the littles a teddy bear until I quit smoking because I don't want the teddy bear to smell like cigs (even though I only smoke outside, the smell lingers on my clothes, skin, and hair).

That's my plan, at least.

I am so sorry to hear that Christmas is hard for you. I hope that you have good surprising gifts this year, no matter what time of season or holiday it is, and I hope that you find happiness even in the darkest of times.

I'd love one of those blow-up illuminated Santas, but secure it with Kevlar cord lest the wind blows him out to France!

OMG can you imagine??

I also would like watermelon Sephora lip balm and maybe the coconut one too. My mom said she likes everyone to have something they can open besides gift cards and this is the first year in awhile I’ve come up with something I’ve wanted besides gift cards.

Updated Christmas list:

Box lunch gift card
Lush gift card
Watermelon Sephora lip balm
And this shirt I saw on Amazon that has the Fruit Of The Loom logo WITH the Cornucopia and underneath it says “Mandela Effect”

I also have plans to buy my family a ton of gifts.

I forgot to add a pomander orange clove. Soi fragrant when hung over the fireplace.

Though seen as old fashioned now, bowls of pot pourri.
Also of hibiscus or rose hip teas mixed with red rooibos, and fragrant herbs and spices including pine cones and sticks of cinammon strung up across the ceiling beams.
We'll watch an assortment of 4K DVDs and the full set of Game Of Thrones, also The Crown is long overdue for some serious watching.
And if it snows, I'll get my Norwegian toboggan out.

I have been thinking about this for a few days. Truth be told, I still can't make my mind up. There are too many things to wish for, so I guess I will just keep it simple. I wish for a snow-in so i can build a snowman as I used to when I was a young lad. AAA to think, tis true what they used to say about schooldays been the best of life. Until off course, I found out there was no Santa! AAA crumbs...

I would be very happy to have some peace and some resolution to some difficult issues that have been ongoing for a while. That is truly all I would want.

Unrealistic choice: a job where I work at least few days from home and is not that stressful. Realistic choice: money so can buy whatever I want and would love to get an instapot, a treadmill, take cooking classes, and money for shoes. I’m a dreamer, definitely.

Do like the joy of giving at Christmas and love movies with a good message such as It’s a Wonderful Life or one watched recently called Home By Christmas. Really appreciate my family and my life more since all the things happening last few years.

Happy Holidays to everyone.

I buy my own Christmas gifts from my husband. And I've bought a bunch already. But, don't laugh, I'd like a rocking chair for my front porch.

I tend to buy what I want when I want it, so don't really have a Christmas list.

Ideally it would be practical if I bought a quad bike and trailer for Christmas and winter. Much easier to haul home logs than lugging them through the forest.

From my brother I’m asking for these noise blocking headphones that are on Amazon. They are only $14 before shipping. The reviews are good. I just hope people don’t think of me as “that” autistic kid.

I am with you there lizardlady.

I dont want to be alone but I have been invited to a very small house with too many people. The thought of this freaks me out. The alternative is to be alone at home by myself. I dont want that either............ sheesh.

As for gifts........ nothing springs to mind.

Christmas can be a pretty tough time for many people.

I hope that everyone gets through it in an untroubled, peaceful, and satisfying way, perhaps with some nice surprise cheer through it all!
