The big thing I want is my own apartment.

Smaller things: a new laptop, video editing software, a camera, a new smartphone, rain boots, a new everyday purse, soapmaking supplies, and books.

That the holidays will be over quickly and as painlessly as possible.

The only purchases I have in mind for myself are two pairs of new jeans that fit well. Actually, better yet, if I can lose 10 lbs, I'll fit into the many beautiful jeans that have been too small for me for a couple years. I'll also feel better wearing my high-heeled boot shoes. With the extra weight, I have felt less balance and comfort in them.

A facial would be nice, but that's too indulgent.

I want a new phone. Currently using a Google Pixel 2 but thinking of going back to an iPhone. I want a change even though my current phone still works great and has no real issues. I think I'm just really bored lol.

I finally told my mom just to surprise me in gift cards. I’m tired of trying to figure out what I want vs what I need. I want to be surprised this year. I’m not really in the gift getting mood this year anyways. Its more important for me to be with my family.

I know I’m getting a 12 pound Sealy brand weighted blanket. My 17 pound custom one is too big and my 8 pound one only works when I have other blankets on top of it.

I want an eBay gift card as I'm always finding cool postcards and other collectibles there that I want. My second choice would be an Etsy gift card.

There’s nothing under the tree so far for me besides the weighted blanket. Maybe I’m getting my Sphinx cat. 😬 at Thanksgiving I couldn’t help my brother in-law bring groceries in because he said one of my Christmas presents had rolled in the back of the car. No idea what that means. Maybe a specialty soda or something since he knows how big I am into rare flavors of sodas

Pretty sure my weighted blanket arrived tonight from Santa/UPS. It was big and heavy, whatever it is. I tied a couple of Christmassy ribbons around it and put it under the TV table, which is pretending to be my Christmas tree this year. This way, even though I am alone, on Christmas, I will have some 'wrapped' gifts to open. That's called turning a negative into a positive. I think.

Done wish lists for years now, to avoid ghastly presents from relatives with no taste. When you have an aged parent, better to get it yourself and have something to open on the day. Yes, I insist it's wrapped!! Not sure what's in the other packages, but do need some new knickers

An electric guitar
(Santa won’t be bringing that though)
