-A powerful corded drill (no more of those stupid, money-eating cordless ones!!)

-new eyeglasses (something timeless!)

-a lambswool blanket for my bed

A gift certificate to this huge grocery store that has everything

A Dollar General gift card

Sea monkeys.

I’m actually getting the first 2 as repayment for something on Friday. Then I’m asking for another 2 for Christmas. So I’ll be getting quite a few gift cards this November and December

Just to be with my daughter and our loving friend is all that matters this Christmas for me. My parents are gone, passed away so that will be a tough time for daughter and I, but she and our loving friend will get lots of pressies am sure.

I'm at work now, but will be back later on this thread.

It really depends none of my family ever give me gifts that I want or need. I ask for grocery store gift cards and I get gift cards to McDonald’s. I often wonder if their ears are clean or they are buying something they want instead. I buy something they want usually and they never return it. My gifts throughout the years are weird and don’t make sense. It’s like there lost in translation. I am going to ask for their list in advance and order next month for Christmas from amazon or wherever is easier. I found something for my sister and her boyfriend I didn’t know what to get them I was seriously not sure. But I bought them toques that Bluetooth plays music I thought because they live in a ski resort town that they may like these & use these a lot.

But for myself I will keep it simple:

Carrot cake Oreos

More winter hoodies

Thermal warm socks

Anything from my wish list off Amazon.

And grocery store gift cards.

I'd really like a Cervelo R3 bike with Di2 but that is not going to happen because it is 6000 dollars. Sadly.

I was thinking how lovely snow globes are. Also one of those rechargeable night lights that give off a comforting yellowy moon glow. Oh, and buying honey. Honey makes a lovely gift.

Enough money and energy to give gifts to my daughter, mom, niece, niece's bf, and grand niece. I also want to donate some funds, if I have enough left over. Because of the construction that is likely to take place in my apartment, I will probably skip furnishing the rest of my apartment for a while.

I don't need much.

If Santa were real, I'd ask him to pay off all my credit cards, or at least one. I remember what it felt like to be completely debt free; I want that feeling back.

This year, I would like to have the house to myself. I could spend the holidays painting non-stop. Well, maybe have an extra-large pizza and a big jug of coke to keep me going throughout it all. Except of course I have an inking, that two family members will be here.

All right, if I can't have the $6000 bicycle, I'll take some of that really yummy Stumptown coffee that is $22 a pound. Thank you , Santa!!

I pray that there's a "Santa" for the homeless and for the poor. Many times, they cannot afford to join in the holiday celebration that others can afford. If I could give up my Santa wish, I would wish for that - for help for all the downtrodden people, including those in hospitals, orphanages, foster care, poor living conditions, and homeless shelters.

The only thing I specifically asked for was a new Google Chromebook because my trusty steed is running outta steam.

I hinted at an asp, survival gear, and some stuff from pages I follow on FB. But the laptop was most important.

Unless there is stuff I really, really want, I do not like asking for gifts. I like to be surprised. Also, I have a hard time every Christmas with PTSD and depression, so I am not the jolliest in the Christmas season and prefer to get it over with than make a big to-do.

Wow, that must be really hard if the kiddos want you to quit for Christmas. Have you thought about ways to quit?
