I have three or four great horned owls in the woods behind me. The juveniles do nothing but whine for food every night around 10 or so. It's a lot of fun to hear.

Have the juveniles imprinted on you by any chance? Some do, you know and it's awesome.

One of the comforting sounds so early in the mornings is hearing a 'milk float' as they're called in our town. They are milkmen wjho sell other dairy products including bags of potatoes. They drive an electric van, hence the whine it makes, therefore so-named. It's cute. It's comforting.

And there's the paperboy delivering the newspapers to us every morning at this time of the morning (06:20). Kind of nice as I'm the only one up doing pain with a little anxiety.

I find the sound of rain so comforting. At this time of year I go to youtube and find a video of Yule Log, sometimes with holiday music, ...Yule Log is calming. Native American music can be soothing to me.

Here's an example of Yule Log:

The sound of birds singing or chatting. And the sounds from a good book while silently reading.

Silence. I like the silence in the words when I’m out walking. The sound of rain is also lovely. We don’t often get rain where I live so that’s a luxury.
