Every time I drink a smoothie with cacao powder I always feel the best, like it feels so great, almost like I'm floating. You could probably hit me in the head with a hammer and I'd still feel good. I blend cacao powder, frozen bananas, honey, & milk. I use almond or oat milk. Without the milk it taste like the most amazing chocolate frozen yogurt.
I add tons of cacao powder. Maybe that's why the euphoria is so noticeable. The bag says cacao power, not to be confused with cocoa powder. Does cocoa powder give the same euphoria? |

I don't know if I'd feel euphoric, but that smoothie sure sounds delicious!

Apparently the difference is cacao is unroasted while cocoa is roasted. I actually make a similar shake but with about a spoonful of cocoa.....thing is it’s got theobromine which is a lot like caffeine, probably whats making you feel good 😀

I can relate about food causing euphoria.
I get kind of euphoric whenever I eat or smell pickles. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |
