I’m in a special needs classroom. Wow, that’s bad pay, it must vary by school district. Where do you work? If you don’t want fo reveal then I understand.

I am not a para. I just know what they get paid in our district. Yes it varies by districts.

If you have college degree, I’d say you could do more than being a part time para. Most our paras only have high school diploma or have young kids or are still in school and that’s why this job is convenient for them. Just my opinion of course

Oh I totally agree. I could be a full time para but honestly I have been thinking of doing something completely different. Yes, all my coworkers are parents that are either about to retire so they are doings small and just to get a little bit of money while some others have young kids like you mentioned. Yeah I definitely can't stay in a job like that.

The most I've done for the holidays in terms of decorating: I hung a decoration on my door, and I turn the colored lights on that I have up all year round. That's it. I like the holidays but its not like I'm getting paid to decorate my house.

Totally agree. Yeah I like seeing what other people do but yeah I don’t like decorating myself. If I ever had kids, I would probably get an artificial tree and decorate that since that’s very quick and easy to put up and even quicker to take down. Otherwise that is it. If anything else, maybe a wreath.

I agree I’ve found it’s worth it when it’s done though

Yeah it looks nice once it’s done but yeah the act of decorating is a pain.
