No your fine. I like being given advice. I’m using the hot bath and shower in addition to eating low calorie so it should balance itself out.

I saw my therapist today and I just said I wasn’t taking the visteral anymore and my anxiety was fine without it. She asked me how my hunger was without it. I said “it’s fine” she said “good. I don’t want you going in the opposite direction with your hunger.”

Seriously? Does this lady believe there’s only binge eating and restricting? Does she not know there’s also healthy intentional weight loss as well? I seriously don’t get why she has such black and white views when it comes to eating and weight loss but I will not be getting into my weight loss with her.

I absolutely get how frustrating it is!
I hope you'll feel better about yourself while staying healthy very soon!

My new coach makes me eat a TON, insane 2390 calories on my training day! It's mostly healthy protein and healthy fat, and some carbs as well. I found it physically difficult to eat that much food. He also created quite a challenging workout for me. I was concerned about eating so much and asked him about it. He explained his strategy is building my muscle in order to increase my metabolism. I was so scared to weigh myself today after overeating yesterday so much. But guess what i haven't gained anything extra!

I've read a few interesting articles abut losing weight while actually eating more and it's extremely interesting! I've been on 1100-1200caliries for a year once, just to get it all back plus more in no time. I've made myself starve at least 30x in my life and I've only got more and more fat each time. I've decided to risk this strange concept my coach is recommending to try - eat a huge amount of healthy food and exercise very hard! Well i guess it's normal for many people to eat 2300 calories a day but for me, it seems crazy 😂

I'm so fed up with all my unsuccessful weight loss attempts which lead nowhere I've decided to try this one out of curiosity and fun... Just to see what happens 😂😂😂 because I've already been to 1100 and it didn't help long term.

My Zyprexa has been causing some side effects: appetite increases and oversleeping. I'm pleased to say that I seem to have the appetite increase conquered and I didn't overesleep this morning (set my alarm clock).

I was watching a 60 minutes or something the other day where they were talking about intermittent fasting and how that can be helpful. I am not sure the details, so I won't try to explain it myself.

I kind of do that. I eat about once a day - dinner. I might have a small lunch some days, but usually it is just dinner.

Around 3 pm or so I do some upper body strength work and then 45 minutes on a spin bike. Then dinner about 7 pm or 8 pm. Sometimes in the middle of the night I get a bowl of cereal like cheerios or raisin bran with almond milk - I think like a lot of america, cow's milk is a thing of the past.

I found watching movies during my bike time makes it fly by. It has to pretty much be a comedy though, some slow moving movies make the time seem much longer.

I’ve been doing yoga and been eating more fruits and veggies. I’m not trying to lose weight, I’m just tired of feeling tired all the time. Just need to stick to this life style and I’m sure I’ll see the difference sooner or later

@InsomniaViaHaldol intermittent fasting is a real thing and it works. It's not a diet either. It's mostly about creating a time table for when you eat and when you stop eating. My GP told me about it 2 years ago and i did it for a year and lost 50 pounds. I just ate small mini meals (my choice) during an 8 hour period, then stopped eating for 16 hours and whala, weight came off without me even having to work out or lift weights or anything. I walked, used an inhaler but not enough to count it as anything much. Mostly leisurely walks at night during the summer and fall months. But I followed my intermittent fasting for a year and watched the weight come off. It was great.

Research shows that even 6-10 minutes a day of aerobic activity pays off in the long run. I was never one of those people who could spend 90 minutes a day in the gym. Before my exercise induced asthma became a nuisance, I was active playing tennis, walking around the city lakes here, in a community sports softball league and leisurely active.

I don't understand why people think you can't lose weight if you don't spend nearly 2 hours a day in the gym. It's all about nutrition anyway for weight loss, isn't it?

I HATE the gym. Especially the dudes who lift weights in front of the mirrors and spot each other. WTF is that about?

A simple and cost-free method of creating good cardiac exercise is walking up and down stairs. Beats buying a costly treadmill, using the stairs saves space and you get to pace yourself, and in your own time. Keeping a diary of your exercise walks/runs is helpful, too.

Yes walk close to my house since practically live in the country, it’s a peaceful place to go and it’s relaxing with birds singing. Usually walk up a hill in a neighborhood with newly built houses with most houses built in the last 4-5 years. It’s a 30-40 minute walk round trip. Sometimes I drive 5-10 miles to a bigger town and walk in various parks and may walk 30-60 minutes.

Maybe therapists need to train on how to recognize and help patients with eating disorders. This way they can best help and treat patients with possible eating disorders or help prevent eating disorders from getting out of hand.

Yesterday walked in the park with my dog for about an hour. Weather was pretty nice despite still pretty cold with the rain stopping. Did walk to avoid puddles and possible muddy areas.

I gained some weight recently. I guess from overeating during the holidays. I'm trying to eat healthier now and be more active around my house. I did well today.

I went back to intermittent fasting. The 16/8 kind. I’m trying to do 8:30-4:30 although sometimes it’s more like a 17 hour fast. Also today I ate all my calories for the day by 3. So tomorrow I either need to eat at 7AM or go 17.5 hours without eating to get to 8:30. Sorry if my math is wrong I’m super tired. Regardless I do the 8/16 as closely as I can.
