I have two. A lucky bamboo and a spider plant. The spider plant I got from a cutting for free at the library. Literally someone had a bunch of cuttings in a bowl on a tray for free and it said "Free spider plant cuttings, take one!" There were even directions on how to care for it. #PlantMom

Yes! I have multiple! I don't know their names, some are over 20 years old and still thriving! Recently a friend said that my flat looks like a botanical garden 😂😂😂
I have the ones with loong hanging stems (no idea what they're called in English), dracena, some succulents, one cactus, Christmas rose, an orchid and two carnivorous plants. I loooove my flowers!

I had two bonsai trees a few years ago however both died within a year 😢

@seeker33 that's awesome! I should get more plants. I'm sorry about your bonsai trees! I have never done bonsai, but there's a club here in my area for it and they always have a lovely show in the fall and it's BEAUTIFUL. So relaxing to look at.

Absolutely. I've had the best luck with Spathiphyllums (or peace lilies). They thrive in lower light....

Like seeker33, I have many, though not to point of looking like a botanical garden, but that would nice. I'm afraid I'm not that much of an expert on plants to know all of their names. I do also have a couple that have been around for about 20 years, or so. I can say I have three poinsettias, two orchids, three African violets, an aloe plant, some other succulent of some sort, a plant that is almost always flowering (name?), some other plant that we put in a vase in the shape of a head (so the plant looks like its hair), a Jasmine plant, a cyclamen, some bugger that is as tall as a small tree (in our spare room), a baby thuja (hubby's idea), a few air plants in a glass globe, and an anthurium. Truth is, I don't really have a green thumb. I've unintentionally killed many poor plants over the years. Some manage OK, despite, luckily.

I do like flower arranging, and am fairly good at it. I have several dried flower/plant arrangements and my husband usually gives me a fresh bouquet of flowers to arrange that he replaces when the last one fades.

I used to. Then a plant I brought home from a supermarket display came with thrips.

I no longer have house plants......

I don't have any plants indoors because my cats would eat them, but I used to have a glorious, nicely kept neon-pink geranium. Then the owner of my apt. complex told all tenants that no outdoor plants would be allowed. Foolish; nicely potted plants so enhance the appearance of the place. But I had to give my geranium to a good home

Just one little cactus I've had for about 11 years I named Prickles. Lovely little thing who occasionally produces small white flowers. Very resilient.

I have a Bonsai that has been thriving for four years. I suppose I should probably separate it into multiple plants, but I've been too lazy to do that.

I killed a bamboo plant a couple of years ago and haven't tried to have any plants since. There are lots of mice in the building, though.

Do you own any houseplants?
Yes! Current faves, this twin orchid.

I’ve bought beautiful indoor plants that have given me much pleasure but none have survived the two weeks I’m gone each June traveling. I am thinking of buying more and having someone come in and water them. It’s the same way with outdoor flowers if I purchase them before mid June.

I forget to water plants. My cat reminds me when it's time for food. Plants don't.

Have you tried self watering stakes? I have about 12. They can keep my plants sufficiently watered for two weeks.

I currently have a tiny Christmas tree (literally like 6 inches tall) some sort of European tree that someone gave me for Christmas. I am trying to keep it alive but it if lasts until Spring I will be surprised.
