Glad you have a good rapport with them and that they are there to help. Yeah it's always better to call them first rather than putting the law in your own hands. That's how people wind up in jail even if they were defending themselves. Good intentions in terms of defense but the manner in which they went about it still lands them behind bars unfortunately.

We went over the laws thoroughly in my concealed carry class which was given by one of our wonderful sheriff's. It was very eye opening as to what is considered self-defence & what isn't. Important to know. I think having the class with one of our sheriffs was really good since they are the ones who enforce the laws & our group was full of questions to ask for clarification.

Lol....but most of my interface with them had been with herding a cow on the highway till they arrived to help me. Lol....how that black cow got out onto the highway at midnight....we never did know how it got out of the field but the sheriff had bolt cutters & we got him back in through the gate. I was also involved with the stallions in an animal abuse case. The sheriff department rescued the stallions from their abused location & a group of us cared for them during the trial. Country sheriffs have a huge job beyond the everyday law enforcement stuff.

That's good that you sorted that stuff out and had that class. I'm sure that really helps. And glad they were able to help you with other stuff as well. Good to be on their good side.

I went to pick up my cigarette lighter once, but it wasn't there. I looked and looked, I thought I might've dropped it, but no, it wasn't there. I ended up practically turning the house upside down looking for it, because it was just right in front of me a minute ago. Couldn't find it. I was really confused, I mean, how could that be? Then, after about an hour, I sat down down, shaking my head, and guess what? I looked down right in front of me and there it was, in plain sight. I tell you 110%, it wasn't there before. I think it was the universe sending me a message about smoking.

I still have a totally unexplained one. I had my smart phone & even posted to FB right before walking out the front door going out to mow my side field with my lawn tractor. When I got back in, I couldn't find my phone anywhere. I walked the field area with a rake. Nothing. I even had friends try to call it before the battery would have died. No ring inside my house or outside. I had the tracking on it but had turned off the "location" because of battery usage. That was 3 years ago & I still haven't found that phone. I have found other lost things but not the phone & it has an SD card in it with pictures I treasured.

Maybe someday it will show up. Lol....it even had a hot pink protective cover on it.

My laughable theory is that one of my bunnies took it down its rabbit hole to the white rabbit & played games on it till the battery died then left it buried.

Oh wow, that is strange. One creepy possibility is that someone entered your house and took it but otherwise that is bizarre and weird. I like your rabbit theory, funny theory haha.

I’ve had that happen. So weird, yeah I can see how you would take that as a sign. So mysterious and it makes you feel like you’re stupid or going crazy.

I’ve enjoyed reading these! Weird stuff happens with me often too!

One that I remember well was a few years ago. We lived by a creek and our back yard was fenced. I was walking through the backyard toward the gate that opened on the bank of the creek. For some reason, I stopped and stood completely still and goose bumps popped up all over me. It’s like I couldn’t move! I looked at the gate and there in front of it was a copperhead snake laying on the ground. My breath caught in my chest and I watched it slither into the creek.

I’m thankful for whatever froze me. I would have been in trouble had it not. I believe it was my guardian angel.

Glad you enjoy reading them! Wow, you were so lucky. As much as I don’t believe in ghosts, I do believe there are forces at play in the universe that we don’t know about, and whatever it is was definitely protecting you that day. Good story!

When I was a teenager, I had a very violent and disturbing dream where there was an explosion at a nightclub and band members were killed. It was very vivid and graphic. I had the dream at about 1:00am.

When I woke up after dawn, the news was on tv and it said that there was an explosion at a nightclub a couple of counties away at.....1:00am! Some band members were killed.

It was very disturbing. I still don't know why me, of all people would have that dream......

Omg something similar like that happened to me. A few years ago in December I was at my old mental health clinic waiting for my mom to pick me up. I then had a random thought of “what stops someone from going into a metal health facility like this and start opening fire?” Then when I was at home they had a breaking news announcement that there was a shooting in a mental health facility in California. It had literally been starting to happen right when I was having those thoughts.

Not creepy just unexplained. I saw a well dressed man standing in the middle of Costco completely zoned out holding a pint of Hagen daz ice cream. It actually made me really sad. I had had a really bad day at work and I had no idea what was going on with the man but he had like business clothes on so I don’t know. I ended up learning a few hours later that day that my cat was dying. Ugh that day was a mess.
