Positive thing: my 14-day mandatory self-isolation was over yesterday, so I finally saw the light of day (went outside) yesterday!!! It was good.

I got a two week vacation with no work, school, or major obligations.
This is a Zombieland rule: Enjoy the little things. Today my mom excitedly gave me a big, brand new bottle of Lysol disinfecting spray--and lavender scented--SQUEAL!!! She said she found it underneath her seats in the car, it was a grocery item she purchased weeks ago before the corona nonsense. This makes me so happy. Before all this nonsense, I'd spray all the doorknobs and light switches in the house on a weekly basis and it was one of my favorite disinfecting tools, and my last bottle gave up its life a week or so ago and it really bummed me out. My mom also surprised me with a few bottles of wine for being so helpful with cleaning the house and grocery shopping and puppy sitting. Oh, by the way, the corona virus was the main reason why my parents got a puppy. Couldn't go on vacation, so we got a puppy! (They planned the puppy thing for over a year, but the corona virus finalized and sped up the search.) We are VERY happy with him. He's an eight week old Texas Blue Heeler/Collie mix. Super cuddly lap dog, very obedient, extremely smart for a puppy his age. His name is Doc Holliday. |

It's also a great time for self-discovery and reflection.

I hear you about the lavender Lysol. I have a can I got ages ago. I love the scent. |

People staying home is creating something positive for plant nurseries. People are working in their yards and/or planting veggie gardens which boosts sales for nurseries.

I have seen pictures online that the pollution all around the world has been reduced which is good because it only means after this we will have a clean environment.
Also, I get to talk to my mom about life which I don't do that much before. Keep safe and continue praying for the world and humanity. |

I’m going to be saving a lot of money since I can’t go out. My job is paying me and I get social security as well. So my bank account is growing and I get to sit at home and watch Hulu all day.

It shows how woefully unprepared we are for a pandemic despite what our leaders tell us.

The adversity of dealing with the virus forced me to face some things with which I needed to deal. It SUCKED to go through lol. But it's for the best.
I got a chance to see that I do have those who care about me. Covid allowed us the space to learn who's really there for each other. __________________ Blerd Girl |
