Yeah, I like not having to get out, too. I've even taking a class online (with Zoom).

No positives.

Can’t see my daughter. Neither one of us can travel to either location without having to take a month off. Two weeks there. Two weeks quarantine here. No one gets month off at work. She had to cancel their wedding, thankfully got money back. Now they might do it without our side of the family there, they want to start a family and don’t know how long this Covid going on. So I might not be at her wedding if we decide to go that route

. Work sucks because of covid. And no I don’t work from home. Have to wear a mask all day and talk all day with a mask on. Can’t travel. More laundry and dry cleaning as I have to change everything I wore that day even something I normally wouldn’t wash every single day like a scarf or cardigan. Gym open at only limited capacity so no availability for things I want. No shows no plays no movies

I am not a moper but there is zero positives in it really

I have been able to save up my leave time - something that was impossible before.. and I am now, "topped off" more so than I haver ever been.

I have been able to really work on my health. I can go to the store mid week now and get fresh food and cook it myself.

I have been able to lose some weight and keep it off.

I have been able to get extra sleep time.

I have been able to spend less money and save more.

I have been able to get to projects around the house.

I have been able to get more exercise and sun.

I have been able to get so much more medical care -- I can get appointments and blood work early in the morning.

No more head colds from being stuck on the unsanitary train.

There can be no more argument that working from home isn't something I can do in my job.

My cat had an adjustment period but he is happy to have me around now and I am better able to know what is happening with him.

Over all... this has been one of the best years of my life... a few years back I prayed (not that I believe in god) that god or the universe do something to help me get through the last few years of my job before retirement which I am very bored of... and this happened.. and I think... it will give me the tools to make it to the end of my job.

One positive, not having to drive 22 mile round trip to work saves time and money.
Second one, staying home with my dog who now gets more attention.
Thirdly, slightly less anxious working from home since do not hear co-workers talking, typing, etc, so less distractions in a way.
Fourthly, less opportunity to eat lunch out or run to get coffee next to the office so save some money maybe.

For me, it is a back-to-basics return to and lesson on why ou creator put us here in the first place. To love and take care of each other, using the fundamental goodness He gave us all.

Wow, I admire your energy and ambition. I wish I could get the same drive and motivation
