My eyebrows are almost completely grown in. I only ever tweezed them myself. I just havent bothered recently. Altho the last time i even clipped them short. Maybe i can continue ignoring them and then make an appointment with an eyebrow guru when this is over. They want you to have fully grown in brows. Another couple of months should do it!

I made the mistake of letting my husband "trim" my hair. I had to wear a hat for a few days.

Yes, but I don't like to read them online I want a real, paper book...that has the scent of a book. They say they're opening on May 1st, but I'll be quite surprised if they do. There is, however, a sprawling, gorgeous rose garden around the library. The roses are starting to be in full bloom now. What a perfect time to enjoy them! __________________ |

I've taken to wearing my hair in braids.

I have several online meetings this week, zoom or what not. Guess I’ll have to at least attempt to fix my hair. It’s getting to the point of unkempt look. My coworkers joke that they’ll have to wear decent tops but can keep pajama pants on. Won’t show on a screen lol

I really want to shave my head. But then I think the lockdown might be lifted soon so I put it off. Then things get bad again so I think of shaving it again, and vice versa. I have a hat though to wear for therapy sessions if I really do shave it.

It's been raining here a lot lately. Moving my horse in & out of the barn I am out in the rain a lot. That wouldn't be bad except I have naturally curly (frizzy) hair. What a sight... but as long as my horse, dogs & cats don't care, the few people I see can deal with it too. Only have 2 mirrors in my house & if I don't look at them what I don't see doesn't bother me

Tell me about it. I
Got repurplized before the first set of guidelines in fact before the total shelter in place but two days before they shut the salons. I have dirty blonde hair but my purple isn’t taking as well this time around. I’ve been trying to sit in the sun because it brings out my highlights and I’m hoping to look like I’m rocking an ombré. __________________ "I carried a watermelon?" Since there is no one around to tell me i smell like a goat (mom!), and im kinda afraid to go do laundry in the common room, ive really been slacking on the showers, so my hair has been getting pretty long, because thats the only time i cut it myself. I might have a chin length bob pretty soon.

My mom cut my hair last night. It’s honestly not that bad. It’s not salon cut, but I can get away without wearing a hat for therapy sessions and it for sure helps with my gender dysphoria.

I have Klaus Meine hair - curly and long below ears, covered by a beret due to excessive balding on the crest. I do not, however, have his money.

In a week or two really will want my hair highlighted and trimmed, root coverage will be needed. Until then maybe a head band and/or a hat will help. Can possibly let my bangs grow out, and have trimmed my own bangs before, but it’s not a good idea. My hair looks a little better if put mousse in it when it’s still wet, then let it air dry.

Yay, hairdressers in my country have all reopened today so I'm off to get a mop-chop! She'll no doubt be very busy...

too funny. Everything is still closed here. When we have work meetings on zoom, lots of people wear baseball caps or beanies or some men shaved their heads and women all have pony tails.

The gov here is letting the stay at home order expire but it sounds let hair dressers won't open until June, if they have safety messures in place. I'm growing my hair out and planning to get die from the drug store but poor mum. She prefers her hair short. She found a hair band but it looks sort of young and she's 92!!!!

I'm fortunate that I've learned to take care of my hair on my own. My friend literally bought me a book about how to take care of my hair texture as a gift maybe 3 months before lockdown started lol. She knew how much I wanted the book and surprised me so I've been covered in the hair department since this all started!

Oh! And even more fortunate is that I really got serious about finding natural alternatives for my hair care routine. Since I get mostly everything from the grocery store that doubles as food and hair care I was stocked up on supplies to last for months. My sanity may be waning, but at least my hair looks flawless lol (derp).

Ugh I agree about the Youtube tutorials. I see so many cute styles that I try to replicate, but they're all like supermodels with a champagne budget or something lol. I need a video that's all about "the broke woman's guide to stylin and profilin" haha __________________ Blerd Girl |
