Avoid eye contact and act awkwardly like I do around any person

Depends on who it was. I'd probably gawk and in some cases ask for an autograph.

Smile and leave them alone. I did have a couple of "famous" patients come see me over the years. One, I actually, secretly had always sort of worshiped/had a huge and very inappropriate crush on. Which the whole world knew about, I suspect. Quite the actress. Oscar winner, as a matter of fact. Brilliant at her job. Just brilliant. Could not believe it when she emailed me out of the blue. Fortunately, I had spent a fair amount of time in her country of origin and she somehow learned that I had an interest in something she needed help with. I was not manic at the time and did not make a fool of myself, fortunately...

I have met a few famous people. Most of them were not big-named ones. I went to college with some well-known radio personalities in the Boston area.
When I met some in person, I stammered and felt like I made a fool out of myself. One time I shook hands with a radio preacher that I had loved listening to. He was at a church to speak. He went to a table to sell his books. I asked him who he was. He told me and felt so dumb. |

I randomly have met famous people that some how we kick up a conversation. I have a good eye for spotting them almost like a needle in a haystack sort of thing. I think talking to them depends on the moment I guess, but i must say its cool seeing them out in public even though they are normal people.

Oh wow, I never thought about someone having trouble with the font color. Thank you for pointing it out. I don't think there is way to change the font in someone else's posts. I solved the problem by switch the color to black myself.

I think it depends who it is.
I really want to meet ant and dec (they are UK tv presenters, and are extremely funny) but, if I found them standing in front of me I doubt I'd do much on the other hand, if I met someone out a soap opera or a tv show who I admire, I'd probably fall down in shock. I mean having that person staring you right in the eye.... special experience |

I've not seen too many celebrities in my life. It sort of depends on the situation. I would respect their privacy if they were out and about like normal. I would think it was pretty cool. But if they are playing to the crowd, I would get excited. I would smile. I watch Carpool Karaoke. It's from The Late Late Show. The host and a celebrity ride around and sing. Sometimes they open the window and say crazy stuff to people. If I saw that, I would smile and say Hi! If it was Justin Bieber, I would scream. Lol!

I would just be myself. Although 1 celebrity I met, Joan Baez, I was so happy & excited to meet her that I cried all over the shoulder of her silk magenta blouse. We were hugging and laughing.

If it was Cindy Crawford or Lady Gaga, I might try to get a selfie and an autograph.
