Other kids teasing me for being shy, different colored eyes and slight speech defects I slightly stammered and stuttered.

There were some bullies during my teen years that I had to deal with. I sometimes wonder if those people, now middle-aged adults, still bully.

I had a very hard time dealing with having to quit a passionate hobby from when I was a teen.

As a kid, an allergist said I was allergic to chocolate, peanuts, and oranges. Luckily, I outgrew those allergies. Back then, they showed themselves in the form of a rash, but not a dangerous one. I didn't really care that I had a rash, but my mother obviously didn't give me these foods for quite a while.

I do not miss Rosa Parks dying because I swear I remember it being in 2013.

Being forced to eat foods I honestly despised. My parents were very old school "you'll eat what's in front of you". To this day, I can not stand rhubarb, parsnips or sauerkraut.

right
the bhedtime thing. mine was half 7

even back then I had issues with sleeping, so it was a nightmare for me. I'd be up sooner or later watching cartoons.

so it really didn't matter in the long run, I guess, still sucked to be told it was bedtime though

Getting bullied.

Belittled by my parents and our maid (yes, parents preferred to 'spoil' the maid than me. They called me useless for not helping the housework, but they often let the maid taking a nap when it was the working hours and the job was not done. There are still more cases)

The "caged" feeling. Parents never let me do anything that I want or normal children doing. Now as an adult, I am chasing back that experience that I never had before.

Kids at school not liking me

Bad teachers. Only two teachers I recall who were alright. The teachers were mostly old and hated kids. Even the younger teachers hated kids.

I was 10-12 years old in the late '60s. It seemed like the adults hated kids at that time. Remember that saying, "Never trust anyone under 30."? That included young kids, not just those in their 20s and teens. .

Also it seemed like parents hated kids. I remembered going to visit a friend and then their parents would holler and even whack them them in front of me.

I would also say my parents. They were very critical and I had not done well in school. I had realized recently that I had lousy parents, even though for so many years I thought that they were OK. It's just that they provided well for me materially, but did not support me emotionally.

I'm not sure where my school got half their teachers from.

my math teacher hit the class for no reason at all,

my language teacher smoked during class,
my english and music teachers both stank (my music teacher actually got fired it was so bad)

and my science teacher didn't know a thing about science
