May the best (luckiest) team win! Okie PS I cancelled a T appt so as not to miss the game! __________________ |

I do like Bret
but GO SEAHAWKS I've secretly got my fingers cross that Seahawks don't give the game away in the fourth quarter. __________________ kebs |

GO PACK GO!!! It's always nice to see Holmgren and Hasselbeck lose, especially to us. (And *I'm* hoping Brett doesn't have a 6-interception game!)

Go Seahawks!!!!!!
I am seem to remember Hasselbeck previously in a play-off game against the Packers, making some overly confident remark at halftime or something, like there is no way we can lose. And guess what? Yep, big loss for Hawks. So Matt, keep your lip zipped this time and don't jinx it! __________________ "Therapists are experts at developing therapeutic relationships." |

Glad to see there are some football fans here!! I always think a little competition can be healthy. I know Holmgren would sure like to win this one, especially since he used to be at Green Bay.
See ya after the game! __________________ |

Ohhh how torn I am!! With my friends rooting for opposing teams.. And I feel... pulled by all of you lol. Except.. well maybe Hope.. She's a Pat fan.. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! LOL.. Still love ya Hope .. but sorry.. Pats.. gotta go lol. I am enticed so much by Brett Favre's absolute enjoyment of the game right now. He so gets me into the game when he plays. I like the chemistry going on with Holmgren and Hasselbeck... its give me my space for both of them.. you can see they care about their team by letting eachother do that. That rocks to me. I am Close to Indiana...So I do like the Colts too.. So I am hoping for a victory for them.. I hope Jessica gets to Romo.. hehhehe... yeah not a big Cowboy fan here.. ewwww lol....EXCEPT WHEN IT COMES TO KENNY CHESNEY!!! Hahahaha!!!And NYG>... hey who couldnt love and favor a Superbowl QB's(Peyton) Baby brother Eli? Can ya feel the family love there? And the Chargers.. well.. I just dont get much of a charge out of them either. So.. take what you want from this. .. I know one thing.. I love watching football. And even though MY TEAM is not in the playoffs.. I can enjoy the games anyways.

Well, even though they're probably going to get slaughtered, I'm rooting for the Giants now -- just because Eli sucks and we can kick his butt easier than we can kick Romo's.
ONE GAME between the Pack and the Super Bowl -- hope Brett has one more in him! |

Wonder how well he will fare when it's not snowing a mile a minute and you can see the yard markers! I'm going with the Giants. Of course I also went with the Seahawks. __________________ kebs |

It has been so much fun watching him this season. It almost makes you sorry that eventually he's going to have to retire. I don't think I've ever seen an athlete in ANY sport who just has as much fun playing as Brett does. I am sure when he goes into the Hall of Fame, pretty much the entire state of Wisconsin will travel to Canton for the ceremony! LOL

I think he's all signed up to play at least one more year! I guess when you're THAT old, you only sign up for one year at a time!

Oh no, the Brett retirement drama is an annual rite of spring in Wisconsin. He says he's leaning toward coming back, but he hasn't made it official yet. Last year it only took him a few weeks after the end of the season. The year before, their last game was in late Dec. and he didn't make it official till May or June sometime!
And for the record, he's 4 years younger than me, so who you calling old?!?!? Of course, I'm a committed couch potato, not an elite athlete.... |
