Today, 9/11 is my second anniversary of living in my new home. My parents and I hoped we wouldn't have to deal with any more fires...unfortunately, we've been stuck inside for three days due to raging fires...But good news, yesterday was cold and foggy and we got some favorable winds, and the firefighters worked so hard that they stayed awake for 48 hours fighting the fire (and are now allowed to get some sleep!) and hopefully soon our neighbors who evacuated will be able to return home soon.

Today my dad and I will do some errands for the first time in three days, and my dad will pick up Chinese food as a nice treat!

I am so glad things are returning to normal. This year has been crazy, but 2 years in our new home is a good milestone!
