Posting to see what games people are playing
I had took annual leave in anticipation of Cyberpunk 2077 coming out, but it got pushed back to 10 dec So keeping myself distracted with other games that have been out a while. I quite like stratergy games and I'm enjoying Stellaris and Mini metro. What about yourself? __________________ Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA): UK |

I've been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons on my Nintendo Switch. So relaxing. Also I just recently purchased the expansion pass to Pokemon Sword so I'm playing through that.
I still need to finish Harry Potter Lego on my Xbox One X. Will probably play that over the holidays. Happy to see a gaming thread! __________________ R.I.P mom 8/6/55-1/15/16 “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

I haven't been playing much lately, but I like Final Fantasy XI and Star Wars the Old Republic. I'm not very good at console games. I prefer MMO's. I like being in a world where I can interact with other people. Guild Wars 2 is another good one. Lots of teamwork there.

I am not a gamer really, but I couldn't resist posting this story: when I was around 9/10, I baught a copy of the computer game theme hospital. the people in the shop reasured me it was fine, and I'd enjoy it. got it home, and I realised the set up instructions were in every language but english and they failed to point that out to me.. and I never got to play sadly only game I did play as a kid was a water skeing game, but that was before I discovered the internet.. I don't even remember what it was called oh yeah: I did have one of those megadrives and played sonic a lot when I was younger and some final fantasy on PS1 |

That is such a shame as Theme hospital was awesome. Easily one of my favourite games from that period. I don't think it's from the same company (Bullfrog)... but there is a very similar game that came out in recent years called two point hospital. It is good fun.

I've recently been thinking about when I first got my computer (my first one), it came with a copy of space jam. for free who remembers space jam |

Been a bit naughty and taken advantage of the steam autumn sale - bought 'red dead redemtion 2' and 'doom evolution'... even at reduced cost, burnt a little hole in my pocket. Both seem very good and I rattled out 12 hours of game play yesterday.... not done that since my 20's

I checked on World of Warcraft the other day and the new expansion Shadowlands was available. I quickly downloaded that and started playing. I've played so much that my wrist hurts. I keep playing though. I'm having fun. There's so much to it. I want an allied race. But you have to do a ton of quests to get one. I'm trying. I have to take a lot of breaks. I'm not in my 30's anymore.

Have been away. I had a small stroke and couldn't use hands enough to type but it's coming back now and been playing games to help my co-ordination. They had to be easy to start but it has worked and now slowly getting quicker respones and better memory.
I'm playing BOTW blind (without activating Map Towers) as played through it before, just to test my memory of where to go to find things and playing physical games for gross motor like sports and exercise games for physio. I can't do any timed challenges though yet so getting the new Sonic game for xmas as he moves quite fast on the rails without you having to do much controlling hoping it would speed up my eye tracking and then improve my targeting moving objects. Animal crossing was good to start as it was easy to relearn the fishing, catching bugs and its relaxing. I'm enjoying the Dorfromantik puzzle too. Not sure what level I'll get back to I had been paying games for years and was quite good, though not in same leagues as 'professional gamers' My brian still needs a while to work out what to do in the game and how to make my character do it, so not quite reached the 'automatic' stage yet! Most of the games that would improve those areas are too fast paced from the beginning or not available on Switch. Games sem to be easy to control co-ordination wise or start hard..could do with one that has a learning arc where you start slow and can improve enough to move onto faster paced games! |

I play Red Dead Redemption 2. I stopped playing online, due to cheaters. I also enjoy Assassin's Creed, CS-GO and Fallout 4. And a few phone games like Clash Of Clans and Clash Royale. I used to play wow but lost interest.
