I plan on giving gift cards to people since no one will tell me what they want. My mom maybe a Kohls or Home Depot, my brother a Best Buy one, and maybe Amazon for my sister and brother in law. And toys for my 2 nephews.

I’m getting a burrito blanket, a weighted sleep mask and a skateboard from my mom. A hat from my brother that I picked out, and I think my sister and brother in law are getting me a grocery store gift card.

Last year was kinda weird because I just said “get me any gift cards” so I was very specific this year.

I bought more gifts this year than normally for two sons who are with us and sent something to all on my ‘nice’ list.

It’s a gift, I don’t know what it is. I’m mainly giving toys to the grandkids. A Xbox wireless controller in blue. And x box gift card. Play doh and a play dog frozen plat set, a smart watch in pink and a few other smaller gifts. My daughter is getting a huge assortment of teas and a gift card my son in law bbq stuff.

We’re doing a Chinese Christmas this year because of the pandemic. It will be easier to get one present aside from my daughter’s. It might be fun as well.

I all ready got a really nice new ornament angel to replace the one my mother broke, and will probably buy some more things before christmas (no one to buy me gifts, soooo.)

I do want a new chair though for my back. as well as to help my back, it's also missing a wheel... so it's about time it got replaced.

and I'll probably buy some of my favorite good girl perfume

I don't exchange gifts with that many people. In my family, extended family members stop exchanging gifts when a person is no longer considered a kid. Even my siblings and I mostly stopped exchanging after those years, save maybe really small stuff. Since both of my siblings were born in December, their birthdays pretty much cover it, anyway. I stopped giving my nephews gifts when they came of age. Though my husband exchanges a lot with friends, his one sister and nephews of that sister, I don't. Call me Scrooge, if you like, but I truly like it this way. I don't mind not getting anything (or much) from them.

Of course I do exchange with my husband and dad (my mother passed away about 15 years ago), and am fairly generous. This year I told my husband that I wanted to get him new skis and ski boots. He was ecstatic and has already bought them, on my behalf, along with a cool ski helmet. I am yet to buy something for my dad. I have no clue what, because he never wants anything. Usually I buy him a shirt or sweater, because he always likes them. When I've purchased other things for him, they were never used.

This sounds great. I probably wont get anything from my family. They are not the giving kind. I do not even get birthday presents anymore. I havent gotten presents from majority of my family for years. I might get my brothers and sisters and gran something for their birthdays though.
