Over the past few years
the growing amount of extreme religious rhetoric I've seen being used to sanctify Trump and this incarnation of the GOP and it's use in the increasingly literal demonization of democracy and it's defenders is a glaring indication that we shouldn't be too surprised if there comes a time when more than a few from the American right wind up evolving into an entity quite willing [and even rabidly eager] to self-righteously claim... that oppression & violence used in the name of Trump and his party is wholly necessary and nothing other than rightfully obeying what they will brazenly claim is 'the will of God'. We shouldn't be too surprised at all. |

Christian ethics are reputable codes that shouldn't be torqued and twisted to suit one's purpose....but all too often it can happen during a religion's interpretation. Regarding that practice, American evangelism is one of the most blatant and frequent offenders in the whole of Christian faith. This is not a rare opinion.
America is seeing itself pressured by those who wish to redefine established ethics and ideals that were born within the foundation of the nation. Many are engaging politics under the banner of a flawed Christian variant. Americans have to remain aware of the damaging potential this manner of 'faith' can have. Religion has been a healer...but has too often been an illness. The history of mankind shows accounts of both. The good is good but the bad can be downright destructive. |

Addressing me as "ma'am" and asking me for money or money to buy drugs isn't going to win me over.

I'm not scared near as much as I am disappointed.
The good news I suppose is that I'm not near as disappointed in myself as I used to be. |

Looking carefully, so many great spiritual warriors enter your path and then leave your path upon your journey. It's amazing. 🙏

I guess if I just take a shower and do laundry that will be enough to be considered being productive today.

Perhaps the psychopath lies dormant in many of us but it just depends on what world view you adopt

Just wondering how many people really can't read things written in cursive now and how long til it becomes one of those ancient obscure languages that people occasionally study at university. If we last that long.

What bs for the manager to tell me the hot water problem is just with my unit. It would be at least some people besides me, I mean does he think the hot water "decides" to avoid going to my unit but everyone else's? Moron....Of course hours after I told him I have no hot water, he finds out some others don't but of course no apology to me. I'm so sick of this "it's just you" mindset in US culture.

I had some this afternoon; I don't know if it's real or what you mean by that? I used to hate the stuff but I can drink it if sweetened, not plain. It was a Bigelow teabag. It's supposed to be better for us than black tea but I like black better.

PS: I chose it because I was planning to do a green tea a day health thing again. Loose I thought might be better somehow. I'll be going back to bagged green. |
