Has anyone been on the high dose of the shot for Abilify and then gone off it? If so what are you're experiences? Also, what are anyone's experiences with going off anti-psychotic shots?

I was on the shot of Abilify 400 (It's different than pills when I was on pills I was on 30 mg) I've been taking Rexulti in addition to that for a while. I was given the shot once per month, then a few months ago or so it went down to 300 once per month.

The shot doesn't go any lower than that so starting this month I'm off the shot and am weaning off with 10mg pills. I can't remember for how long. In time I'll be off the Abilify entirely if it works out. Then I'll be on the Rexulti.

This is all under the supervision of a Psychiatrist.

I do like the Rexulti. And it will be nice to be on one less med, I take other meds and still will.

I have Schizoaffective disorder and PTSD with Dissociative Disorder among other things, but those are my primary problems.

Thank You For Any Responses
