So I have been slowly tapering off Limictal with my doctors support. I have stomach ulcers and it seems they really act up when I drop my dosage. I have read that Limictal restricts the flow of certain amino acids and that when you quit the meds your body gets flooded with these acids. Can this flooding be causing my ulcers to act up? Anybody else have this reaction? Am I way off

Thank you very much

Do you take medication on the daily for your ulcers?

That’s ironic as amino acids are recommended as nutritional healing for bipolar.

I was on Lamictal for years, but had never heard of any of this. Thanks for the heads-up.
