My uncle passed away suddenly at 57 years old on May 9th 2016. I can't stop thinking about him. He loved motorbikes, family, beer, his nieces (me and my sisters,) his nephews and his younger sister (my mum.) He would have been turning 59 on October 2nd 2018 but instead he is in heaven with grandma, granddad, buhla and buster. Buster was my mums dog until I was about 4. Then Buster passed away. I barely remember him but I must have absolutely loved him as my first word was Buster. One of my sisters first words was beer. 😂😂😂

I'm sorry you are having so much difficulty coming to terms with the loss of your uncle. There's no timetable for how long grieving should take though. It just takes as long as it takes.

There is such a thing as "complicated grief". Perhaps this is akin to what you are experiencing. Here are links to 4 articles, from PC's archives, on the subject including a quiz you can take to help you determine if the grief you are experiencing might be considered "complicated grief":

What is Complicated Grief? | Mental Health Awareness

Complicated Grief Requires Attention

Complicated Grief: How to Get Unstuck | Bonding Time

Grief and Loss Quiz

My best wishes to you...
