Hi
I’m waggiedogs sister. I think some of you know that waggidog died on 18 May. Losing waggie was just too much for her to bear and she opted out of this world on 18 May. I still can’t believe she’s not here anymore. I hadn’t seen her for a while and I didn’t know she lost Waggie. I have only just been given the ok to plan her last journey. I had strict instructions from her as to how she wanted her departure to be!! While it wouldn’t be my choice I have to respect hers. Love to you all X |

Clio, I'm so sorry for your loss. There was a small group of us that kept in touch on PC. We shared good times and bad. My only hope is they are together now hiking the lovely trails. Carol was a best friend whom I loved dearly. I loved her Waggiedog too. I will never forget them. Condolences from muncie

Thank you Muncie
I know she will be missed on PC Waggie was carol’s life. She bought her back from France when she moved back to England. They were a double act. The lady she looked after us lost without her, and she said she wishes she had done something different and maybe was able to ‘stop’ her. I don’t think she would have been able to. We hadn’t been in contact for about 18 months as she told me to F off because I asked my brother about her as her messages had stopped and I was worried. Carol was extremely low and vulnerable then and I think she thought I was ‘gossiping’ where all I was trying to do was find out what was happening do I could help her. After dad died, which was 4 years ago, in fact we dad our farewells to him on the day Carol went, I asked her to come and live with us but she wouldn’t ! Then 18 months ago she mentioned moving here but I had a house full as my daughter and her partner and 2 small child, one a new born, was here. So it wasn’t an option at that precise time. I feel she felt let down by me but I said we would manage if it was urgent, but we would cope. She didn’t spk to me after that. I am about to organise her final journey, one I know she did not want anyone to be there, it’s now been over 4 weeks and I’ve only just received the relevant certificate so I can arrange something. I will respect her wishes and do basically what she wanted. Please feel free to PM me on here. I know she thought a lot about friends she had made on here. xXx |

I have arranged her send off. I think she will be happy with what I’ve done. She always said no service and do I will honour that. It’s been a catalogue of errors and hold ups. First coroner did not return my calls or messages for over a week then it took her another week to contact mortuary to see if I could go see her, that meant we were 3 weeks down the line and I was and still am unable to see her to goodbye to her. I have to make do with writing a letter and hope that the things I wanted to go with her will be allowed to go with her I want to put photos of her and waggie in along with a letter from me. My own mental health is not too good st the moment. So I’m trying I cope with my feelings and thoughts which is not easy. I have upped my meds back to where they were 2 months ago so I’m hoping that will see me through. Love to you all Angie x |

Oh no !!! I am just now seeing this.
We use to talk often until her living situation became unbearable. Yes losing her fur baby was wrecking her emotionally daily This breaks my heart , she had always been so supportive to me. Thank you for letting me know __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

OMG. I haven't logged in here for ages and i only recognise a few names when i glance at the forums from time to time. I didn't speak to carol on here much in recent years but we did meet in London maybe 5 years ago for a day out, which i think she enjoyed. I said several times she could call me if she just wanted to talk but she never did. The world can be a cruel and unfair place and to lose her dog was probably the final straw. RIP Carol. You were a very decent and caring person.
