I suffered my 2nd miscarriage in the last 4 months. The second one occurred about 2-3 weeks ago. I had to get D&C surgery on 12/26 to extract the miscarriage. It was horrible. I’m having a really hard time with what’s happened. My partner grieved for. Few days but he’s back to normal. I am not. I’m waiting for my counseling referral which may take months.
Has anyone else dealt with this type of loss? Any coping strategies that worked? I feel angry, sad, resentful of my partner (not his fault he moved on & healed), I’m still feeling the physical pain of the surgery. But the emotions side is eating me alive. |

Hi emijec. I am genuinely sorry to hear of the loss of your children by miscarriage. A mother is physically and emotionally connected to the child in the womb and losing a child must be terribly sad and depressing.
I am not an expert on this topic but I have found that loss can be a very challenging thing to face. Here are people more aware of the details of coping with this type of loss Depression After Miscarriage Common, Even Years Later Your Emotions After Miscarriage | Maternity Matters Miscarriage, Stillbirth, and Perinatal Loss: An Empty Cradle | The Savvy Shrink Going on a Bear Hunt: Coping with Miscarriage | Maternity Matters Feel free to send a pm to me or reply to this message and include this tag @CANDC __________________ Super Moderator Community Support Team "Things Take Time" |
