I went to the ER this morning bc my dr's nurse told me to. I thought I had appendicitis. I don't, thank god, but I have a UTI. my mood has been super angry the whole weekend and it feels out of character and uncomfortable. Could the infection cause negative mood?

Yes! My adult daughter gets frequent UTI's and her first indication of the infection is always severe anxiety.
I hope your UTI clears up quickly. They are not fun |

Thank you so much Laurie. I suspected. I really hope this anger is from the UTI. It is really uncomfortable, and I am being a total ***** to my family. So they want nothing to do with me. Which sucks because I need support from my mom.

You're welcome! I forgot to mention that my daughter saw a urologist because of her chronic UTI's...the doctor told her that it is known that UTI's can cause mood issues, many patients report such a thing, but it isn't exactly clear why.
