This is going to sound weird, but I am suffering from sore nipples for no apparent reason.I am not breast feeding I haven't had children. My bra isn't rubbing on them,I haven't been running in just a t-shirt.I am well into the menopause 10 years now.Can anyone tell me what may be causing this.My nipples are so sore, this has never happened before.I am worried it is the start of cancer or something serious.

You should probably get it checked out of it continues to hurt.

My breasts would hurt constantly and even now they still do. I had terrible pain in my right one last week. Someone told me that sometimes when they hurt it means they are getting bigger. I don’t think that’s true though.
