I seem to be at a point where I can't go a day without drinking something loaded with sugar. Especially have cravings for any type of cola. I've tried alternatives but I don't like the taste of artificial sweeteners. What would be a healthier substitute? Any suggestions are much appreciated.
PS. I also drink tons of water during the day so really need a non water substitute. |

I don't think diet soda is any healthier than regular soda. I drink unsweetened tea. I add a little lemon or lime juice to it. It has caffeine without the sugar. You can also drink hot tea or coffee. Even if you add a bit of sugar, it's still healthier than soda.

Thanks! That's a good tip. Makes me think I could also try mixing sparkling water with juice until I'm used to the more diluted taste of flavoured water.

I have the bubble issue as well. If I just drink water or non carbonated beverages I get heartburn. I need at least one carbonated drink per day. I don't know why.

I think the "zero" versions of Coke and Pepsi taste more like the real thing. I also have to have my sodas--healthy or not!

I love seltzer but I do not keep sugary drinks like soda or juice in the house so I do not have access to them.

I have this issue too. And they keep coming out with all these new flavors of Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew. It drives me crazy. I’m surprised I don’t have any teeth issues with how much soda I drink.

I wish I'd just stop buying them! I'm good at resisting others sugary things like candy or chocolate because I just replace them with healthy sugars like fruit.

I know and the marketing is everywhere! I worry a lot about my teeth too. Especially now because when I get really depressed I don't take good care of my teeth like I used to.
