So as I mentioned on another thread I had stomach upset for about a week or so. By Sunday I had done so much #2 that my bum was in pain. So I was trying to make sure the hole was clean. I kind of stuck things up there. Finger surrounded with tissue and even a q-tip - but not a long way. Just a little. It didn't seem like very much at the time at all.

However back there has just been killing me ever since. I don't know if I have a hemmeroid kind of feels that way but I don't know what to do about it.

Every morning I have to go #2 and it feels like it takes the rest of the day just to heel and it starts all over again.

I do NOT want to go to the doctor and in fact I can't for about 2 weeks.

Has anyone had anything like this -- that can advise?

If it's just a hemorrhoid, that can be very painful. The best thing in my experience is absolute cleanliness. What I mean is disinfectant, like alcohol. That immediately burns a lot, but after that you will have some peace. Try it once, and with caution, because maybe I'm just a pervert. It did help me with my hemorrhoid though. If it's a rectal prolapse, you would feel it, and it might help to push it back with your finger.

Emily, google the problem and look at solutions. Alcohol sounds incredibly PAINFUL!!

Honey, I have super sensitive skin and use baby wipes always. I have had skins irritations there and after I cleaned it with the wipes, I used Aquaphor or something for baby rash. That settled down the irritation.

I had previously gone and the PA said it was a hemorrhoid. I accepted that. But it never really went away and it didn't hurt or feel uncomfortable. But now it does.

I am not sure it is a prolapse - it didn't feel alarming in that way and or there was no bleeding.

Alcohol does sound painful... so at the moment i am using coconut oil which keeps things clean and is anti bacterial.

Excellent! And it is settled down? It isn't hurting you now?

There are creams and suppositories for this eventuality that you can get at a pharmacy, no prescription needed. If you were going frequently, the area may have gotten irritated. The creams and suppositories (i dab a bit of cream on the end of the suppository to make it easier to insert) may have medications in them like cortisone to shrink swelling and to relieve pain. If you are still in very bad pain after such meds, then you might need surgery, which is often done in office / outpatient.

It has settled down some. It doesn't hurt, but basically feels awkward. So I set up an appointment for Friday. I need to find out what it is going on back there. It is my suspicion that they original diagnosis with the hemmeroid was wrong. But either way I need to know.

Glad you're getting it checked out. Hope it isn't too painful between now and Fri.

I'm glad you're getting it checked out. I've had hemmorrhoids from not eating enough fiber. They didn't hurt, but caused bleeding whenever I went number 2.

I had to cancel my appointment because of my F***** job. I hate my job.

But things have improved so I am considering not getting it checked out. I might have just irritated things back there. I haven't been eating that well and I think I am going to stop that.
