Hello community,
Has anyone else noticed that after experiencing trauma / adversity, the body requires more care? I cannot seem to stop my body from experiencing hypertension, cortisol buildup and pain in the chest, general anxiety / hyper-vigilance, etc. I am starting to workout more often but it seems as though it is a never-ending fight. Anyone else experience this? Thanks, HD7970ghz __________________ "stand for those who are forgotten - sacrifice for those who forget" "roller coasters not only go up and down - they also go in circles" "the point of therapy - is to get out of therapy" "don't put all your eggs - in one basket" "promote pleasure - prevent pain" "with change - comes loss" |

Yes, trauma does have effects on the physical body. I'm sorry you're going through this.
