Hello,
It's been like 4 years since the cause of the problem. I know the cause of the problem was a junk whiskey I drank in Bahrain which is a country in the Gulf region. Because it was a bad whiskey I had to drink more and more to get drunk, so my body had more levels of alcohol, and since it was a bad whiskey, it could not be prepared properly, maybe stupid people did the whiskey preparation in a personal apartments. I think the drinks at the airport are even fake. Anyway, after drinking more than enough, I was doing sex with a girl, and during sex I felt something happened to me but not very clear but I knew it was bad. Then I started to notice some problems in my body, after two days when I took the flight back to my country I started to have a big pain in my head and also fever and I was very weak the next months. Until I got recovered but not full, I had like an injury in my head. Long story with the next 3 years of going on and off to smoking and some weed. But now I stopped everything when I noticed even the smell of cigarettes cause me to bad and dizzy at the same time, and also feel bad the next day until my brain get recovered from that little smell of nicotine. So I guess my brain now is very sensitive to nicotine, even if someone is smoking anywhere, at the park, store, hall or whatever. Could I have brain inflammation? I want to get better, anyone could help me? I've been to different doctors in Saudi Arabia but they didn't know how to diagnose me. ==================================================================== Also, I think I have problems with smoke in general, last night my wife lighted some Oud for nice smell smoke and I was smelling all that smoke, before years I didn't have any problems with any kind of smoke. But as I was smelling that smoke, I felt my head is full or heavy, until I got out of sleep I continued to feel some heavy feelings or condensed blood on top of my head but not as bad as smelling cigarettes smoke that is more dangerous. When I smell cigarettes smoke, I feel dizzy already and feel very tired next morning and I get that morning and afternoon recovering from tiredness. |

Hello R1S8K: I don't have the answer to your question. From my perspective I think this may be more of a medical issue &, if so, not something we here on PC are going to be able to help with. (Perhaps other members may have some suggestions they may wish to offer.) I see, though, this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to Psych Central.
The other possibility, I suppose, is that what you are experiencing might be related to health anxiety or perhaps conversion disorder. (I'm not a mental health professional. So these are simply my non-professional ideas.) Here are links to 7 articles, from Psych Central's archives, on these subjects: Somatic Symptom Disorder OCD and Health Anxiety Coping with Health Anxiety | Anger Management Hyper-Worried About Your Health? 3 Tips to Help Conversion Disorder Symptoms https://psychcentral.com/blog/the-re...sion-disorder/ https://psychcentral.com/blog/16-war...dium=popular17 I hope you find PC to be of benefit. __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go." I too have problem with cigarette smoke. Also worse now that i am older and on different medications. Not a problem when i was young.
Maybe try to keep nose moist? Splash a little water morning and night? I dont think it is brain inflammation. Google "nasal sinuses". They are all throughout the head, so it feels like smoke is everywhere, even coming out of your ears (through the throat)! Good luck. |

Now I'm like afraid of it's something dangerous and could be worse over time. But it's all my fault .. I'm the cause of all these problems ever !! It was my trip to India and going back to Bahrain. Before that trip I was in perfect mental health !! I destroyed myself with that trip. I was smoking weed in India with no problems at all as usual and ever I was. But it was that junk drink I took in Bahrain which is known for manufacturing its own junk unprofessional alcohols .. some even could be prepared in dirty apartments and could be exposed to bacteria or viruses. But what is the cause, drinking alone wasn't the ACTUAL cause because if I just drank that alcohol only I would be fine. But I drank much more and did sex with a girl. I think I put more stress on my brain !! And my brain couldn't take that much of drug status and doing a high physical action at the same time and damaged something in my head !! This is my analyzation for what happened. But after that injury I went back to my country .. been through the pain and recovery. Then I was fine but not as before. But again I went back to cigarettes and drug and it got much more worse .. Quote:

Well, that is what drs mean when they say they cannot cure a condition, but you can "manage" it. You do whatever you can to make the symptoms feel better, and dont do things that make it worse.
Like i run away from smokers! |
