This one is the left, this Friday the 20th.
I had the right one done in March and it was amazing successful. Only mild healing pain is left with three months of PT. I do notice some bicep pain but one thing at a time. When I tore the right one I knew I tore the left one but I am not one of those people that moans and groans so I had to convince the surgeon to order the MRI. Sure enough there was a tear. Not as severe as the one in the right, he said probably only 2 anchors needed but either way the first month is incredible painful. I have my living downstairs bin packed with all my surgery clothes and stuff. I have already been sleeping in the recliner some nights. I want it to go exactly as it did the last time. Its my moms PACU unit. She cant recover me but she picked the girl who did last time. They come in and give you one hell of a shot to numb your whole arm and and shoulder. I told them to give me something in the IV before that happened and it was a breeze. I remember getting up on the operating table and then waking up in the recovery room. I hope it goes as well as the other one. I am hoping it will be easier because its my non-dominant hand. I have me speech-to text software all ready so I do not go crazy. I cant drive for at least a month!

What are you, an MLB pitcher? How did a sweet thing like you tear both rotator cuffs? Look, when you and hubby play "Dirty Dancing", he's supposed to pick YOU up! I hope all goes well

I tore my right rotator cuff some years ago - not fun. I was on the verge of surgery, then physical therapy finally kicked in and I avoided surgery. I hope it all goes really smoothly for you, sarahsweets.
