Hi DavidManical, welcome to PC.

Did I read correctly that you are taking medication for your vertigo? I took meclizine for mine. Mine turned out somewhat of an easy fix - I found out going off my medication (antidepressant) in a sudden manner caused it. I just went back on it, and then didn't need the meclizine anymore.

I don't know anything about natural cures for vertigo. Maybe its worth a shot as long as its not dangerous or unsafe. I would of course, suggest you talk to your doctor. That would be my first suggestion.

I wish you luck and I'm sorry you have to deal with vertigo!!

Have you seen your doctor to rule out a physical reason for it? Maybe if there is recent changes in any medication you might take could be the cause? Maybe a referral to a ENT would help you find out the reason.

Personally my ear is pre disposed to getting fluid build up and it causes my vertigo , I take Mucinx daily to help keep from having it build up.

Vertigo is so hard to live with

Do you know what kind of vertigo you have? Did they look at all your medications to rule that out as a potential cause? There are many. Have you had a head injury? Have you seen an Ear, Nose, & Throat MD to rule out infection, fluid, or other inner ear causes?

I get vertigo from fluid in my ears caused by allergies. Gotta love the Ohio valley!!! Using Flonase regularly and Sudafed when the vertigo starts for no more than a week usually helps clear it right up!

You can't buy Sudafed in Oregon anymore unless you have a valid prescription. Meth.
