Hey no still awaiting MRI. It could be anything up to 3 months away. I have to attend my GP surgery weekly to get my blood pressure checked. My GP has started me on a blood pressure tablet and has upped Propanol which I take for anxiety as it works for blood pressure too. I still have pins and needles in my 4 fingers and all my left toes. I still have dizziness and nausea. I still am lightheaded but its died right down. I have very little neck pain thankfully too. Overall much better lol

That's great news you are at least getting the bp treated now, and some of your symptoms are a little improved. Everything crossed the mri gets done asap.

Hey I actually now have near perfect as of Mon lol. I have no idea what going on. I have started last week a blood pressure tablet and an upped dosage of Propranolol. I'm still unwell with symptoms though related to high blood pressure. I have my MRI scan on 25th Feb

It's not migraines as they think it could be neurological as I was having other symptoms such as pins and needles in my fingers and arms and pins and needles in my toes. Plus it's now looking like pressure on my brain. I'm having an MRI scan on Tues.

Hey MRI went as well as it can be. Results will be 7-10 days time so roughly week of 2nd or week of 9th March. It was roughly 20 mins in the scanner painless lol. Hope I get an outcome or it will be a lumbar puncture eeek

Hey still no word on MRI it's been 18 days. Saw my GP on Monday so asked him. He said apparently he doesn't get the results I'll get them before him??? Huh??? Also he "checked" there was nothing there. I told my worker she said he actually could of investigated if he wanted to but apparently he couldn't be bothered.
My symptoms are mostly low level now. Although still got pins and needles, headache not as sever mind you, high blood pressure, dizziness, sore neck and skull lower levels of pain though. Thank you for enquiring though when I find out hopefully next week I'll post an update ok |

Hey how's it going? Checking in on you Miss Laura, I guess much of your medical treatment has been sidelined by this pandemic. Hoping you are okay.

Hey guys,
Thank you so much for keep checking in on me. I haven't heard anything re my MRI. I had it over a month ago. I saw my GP 2 Monday's ago if not the Monday before... it was over the 10 day mark he says nothing was through. So it's a waiting game. Still a little bit of pain re my head/neck/skull. GP has moved Codeine 15mg instead of being on 2 tablets three times a day he has said it's a AS REQUIRED med. Thinking of stopping it altogether as he clearly thinks I don't need it and I won't get anymore when they run out as they are meant to be a longer script if you get me cause it's a PRN med. So other than in pain and not sleeping much life is a breeze compared to some other's in the current climate I really can't complain |
