Hi, I've had achilles tendonitis for about 3 years. I did physical therapy, which - if anything - aggravated the tendonitis. Got a cortisone shot. No improvement. I'll see my podiatrist in 1 week. I'm pretty sure he's going to recommend surgery to remove the bone spur and do whatever needs to be done to the tendon.

I'm wondering if anyone here has had foot surgery...what should I expect? Thanks.
